Marketing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist to promote the Home and Community-Based (HCB) Waiver program. This position requires marketing experience with elderly, disabled, disadvantaged populations, or experience with waiver Medicaid. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with case management and office staff to develop outreach strategies, engage with potential clients, and build relationships with community organizations. This is a part-time position, requiring 2 days per week, 5-6 hours per day, at a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the HCB Waiver program.
• Conduct outreach to individuals eligible for Medicaid waiver services, caregivers, case managers, and community organizations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, case managers, and advocacy groups.
• Create marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and social media content to raise awareness of the program.
• Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
• Track and report marketing efforts, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain compliance with all Medicaid and regulatory guidelines regarding program promotion.
• Assist in coordinating informational sessions for potential participants and their families.

Qualifications:

• Experience in marketing, outreach, or public relations.
• Previous experience working with elderly, disabled, disadvantaged populations, or within Medicaid waiver programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in outreach efforts.
• Familiarity with Medicaid services and community-based resources is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Ability to travel locally for community outreach events.

Working Conditions:

• This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional travel for outreach events.
• Flexibility in scheduling within the designated work hours (2 days per week, 5-6 hours per day).
• Occasional overtime may be required based on outreach events and deadlines.
