System Administrator to deploy, administer & support the applications, devices, and operating systems that our end-users utilize. Leverage technical knowledge, business knowledge, analytical knowledge, and tool set knowledge and skills to assess, define, implement, and deliver technology solutions for end-user business needs.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include…
- Deploy, maintain, and support the Taubman Microsoft technology stack, including Windows Operating Systems (Workstations and Servers), Group Policy, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Defender, Azure, Intune, Autopilot, PowerShell scripting, and more, while ensuring compliance with Microsoft security best practices.
- Administer and utilize tools such as Carbon Black, ADManager/ADAudit Plus, to manage and support users and devices, ensuring proper maintenance, patching, and regular reviews to identify and address any gaps.
- Exhibit a basic understanding of networking principles, including IP addressing, subnetting, and common network protocols.
- Execute monthly Windows Server patching and monitoring on all Windows Servers.
- Apply updates and patches for hardware, firmware, drivers, and software across corporate devices and appliances to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Monitor critical systems using tools like LogicMonitor to proactively identify and address alerts, ensuring timely remediation actions.
- Create, manage, and deploy virtual machines using VMware vCenter and ESXi, including network configuration and storage allocation.
- Plan, participate in, and lead projects to improve workflow efficiencies, meet compliance requirements, and enhance security hardening, while acting as a technical lead to outline project objectives, timelines, resource needs, and implementation processes.
- Proactively learn, fully document systems, and stay informed of the latest features and updates and promote new feature adoption.
- Ensure high-quality customer service by utilizing support management tools, identifying and resolving IT issues, and escalating, when necessary, while accurately logging incidents. Assist in selecting new technologies.
- Maintain flexibility for travel and emergency after-hours work.

The ideal candidate will have…
- Minimum of 3 years of strong customer service experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in troubleshooting and supporting a Microsoft Office & Windows environment required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience, is required.
- A solid understanding of hardware, software, networking, and solutions technologies used within the organization.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong emphasis on thorough documentation.
- Experience in the following is preferred:
- Ticketing and Knowledgebase management
- Mobile administration and support
- Advanced understanding of LAN/WANs and TCP/IP
- Providing support for LAN based workstations, printers, and other hardware
- Remote troubleshooting programs and procedures
- Technical writing experience
