What are the responsibilities and job description for the Abrasive Blaster position at Taurus Industrial Group?
Job Scope:
- Perform sandblasting to remove rust, scale, paint, and other contaminants from metal and hard materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance
- Prepare surfaces for further coating applications, such as painting and powder coating
- Monitor the quality of the surface preparation and make adjustments as needed
Requirements:
- Must have all proper PPE
- Abrasive Blasting Certification
- Proven experience in abrasive blasting and surface preparation
- Knowledge of SSPC standards and best practices in surface preparation
- Minimum of 4 years of experience

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
