Summary / Objective :
The Industrial Abrasive Blaster & Painter will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation and high-pressure water blasting.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and set up all necessary abrasive blasting equipment and Industrial coating application equipment in accordance with operational and training and guidelines and safety procedures. Additionally, having experience and operating knowledge of robotic blasting equipment is a plus.
- Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
- Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.
- Ability to perform manufacturer recommended manual maintenance on all equipment in the field.
- Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any job. Inform supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
