About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in Clute, TX. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our facility. Your expertise in mechanical systems and attention to detail will ensure that our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will work closely with our production team to identify and troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to keep our operations running smoothly.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and provide solutions to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with production team to identify and address equipment issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
