Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving drinks to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.- Greet customers and take drink orders
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes
- Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area for events and functions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
