The job includes, but is not limited to:
- checking patients in/out, greeting, and welcoming patients to the practice,
- filling the schedule for hygiene and doctors,
- reconciling accounts at the end of the day,
- answering seven phone lines, handling emails, texts
- Performing general office duties, such as photocopying, filing, scanning.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience working in the dental field. (preferred)
- Knowledge of dental terminology. (Preferred but not required)
- Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
The position is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The physical requirements include 80-90% of the day sitting at a desk, with intermittent standing and walking. Candidate should have the ability to push, pull, bend, reach and lift twenty(20) pounds.
