Overview
Taylor Brothers Farms is seeking an experienced and dedicated Payroll-Benefits Coordinator with knowledge in HR to join our Accounting Department. As a Payroll & Benefit Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate administration of payroll processes and management of Employee Benefits and HR Responsibilities.
PAYROLL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Process bi-weekly payroll, taxes, tax form preparation and filing (QuickBooks)
· Timekeeping- Monitor, collect, calculate, class and verify timekeeping data.
· Record Keeping – Maintain accurate records and up-to-date payroll records, employee records including personnel and confidential files.
· Prepare W-2’s and 1095C, 941 and DE5 forms
· Process garnishments and new hire paperwork including I-9’s, W-4s, etc.
· Support other payroll-related projects and tasks assigned
BENEFITS & HR:
· Process employee contributions for Health Insurance / 401K plans.
· Oversee Maintenance of employee benefit elections and ensure benefits information is up to date.
· Bi-weekly, monthly and annual Reports/Payments for benefits. Includes submitting Employer monthly payments: Workers Compensation, health, dental and vision Insurance
· Supports onboarding and offboarding, including supporting employee enrollment into benefits or termination of benefits.
· Workers Compensation Insurance – Prepare monthly wage reports, pay online, prepare annual insurance audits
· Disability Claims – Process and Submit Employee claims
· Injured Employees- Investigate, complete forms, communicate with employees, maintain records, communicate with Workers Comp Adjuster, post annual OSHA Summary, etc.
· Post and monitor required Federal and State posters in the workplace
· Provide Harassment Prevention Training and maintain records
· Employee Handbook – Updates and distribution as needed
· Assist the Accounting Dept. with tasks and answer incoming phone calls on occasion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
