Job Summary:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of developing new sales opportunities.
This will require working closely with Project Management, R&D and Buying teams. This will also include working with corporate teams to support the building out of a national school strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, review and report on the business development division’s strategy and results including revenue budget forecast, client mix, pipeline management and product development.
- Monitor and drive revenue growth.
- Meet and exceed individual and business sales targets.
- Implementing short- and long-term business plan and actions
- Responsible for positioning, presenting, collaborating a strategy with the customer. This includes category growth, understanding customers store operations and opportunities.
- Assist R&D & Commercialization on innovation as well as recipe development based on customer strategy.
- Maintaining and expanding customer relationships, ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service
- Develop strong relationships with a solution driven approach to create “win win” opportunities. Obtain and maintain an extensive level of market and expert knowledge.
- Serve as the primary liaison with other team leads both internally and inter-divisionally to establish smooth working relationships, communication channels and business development implementation strategies
- Compose internal/external collateral and presentations to further develop business opportunities and enhance organization’s profile in the marketplace.
- Continually evaluate current product mix for viability, efficiency of production and profitability

Job Requirements:
- BA or BS in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven record of identified revenue growth
- 5-8 years’ experience in direct client sales or business development
- Previous sales management in the food industry experience highly desirable
- Must adhere to all HACCP and Food Safety policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP’s)
- Must comply with all policies regarding Employee Safety and Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE)
