Job Summary:
The Quality Improvement Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the consistency and quality of our manufactured items. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to implement effective programs that drive sustainability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with production leads, supervisors, and quality leadership to develop and foster consistency around production execution.
- Collaborate with the Quality and Process Improvement manager to address areas of opportunity for existing products and commercialization efforts for new products.
- Gather ideas and opportunities from the production floor to identify quality improvements.
- Guide production supervision in completing priority tasks related to quality.
- Aid in the execution and awareness of all new quality processing procedures.
- Work with Quality Improvement Coordinators and operators on proper builds and portioning during production runs.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Quality Improvement Coordinators.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (industrial engineering, food marketing/production, manufacturing, food science, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, specifically in leafy greens.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently meet objectives and interact successfully with various teams.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required.
