DIRECTOR OF QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AND ASSURANCE POSITION SUMMARY :
The Director of Healthcare Quality Improvement is responsible for the implementation and oversite of VitalCore's Quality Assurance Performance Program (QAPI), as it relates to all healthcare provided to individuals within the care of the Delaware Department of Correction. Responsible for review of site healthcare reporting and compilation of statewide reporting. The QAD shall implement and oversee all healthcare quality assurance activities by collecting and analyzing data through audits, interviews, and other activities to monitor the quality and appropriateness of healthcare service delivery. The QAD shall also possess the ability to provide leadership, problem-solve and communicate effectively.
DIRECTOR OF QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AND ASSURANCE REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Five years' experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for the healthcare delivery; this includes experience in developing healthcare policies and procedures
At least two years leadership experience overseeing / coordinating the work of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Certified by a healthcare quality organization or meet criteria and be willing to possess certification within 6 months post hire
