We are working with a financial services company that is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join their team. This is for their 2nd shift (4pm - 12:30am).
Responsibilities
- Support the supervisor or department head with system enhancements (upgrading software, patches, and configuring systems.)
- Assist in ensuring the smooth daily operation of systems by following established procedures and protocols.
- Prepare accurate documentation and reports for IT management
- Provide responsive technical support by addressing helpdesk tickets and user requests in a timely manner.
- Participate in scheduled system updates
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a secure and stable IT environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- 2 years experience with IT Helpdesk/ Desktop Support
- System experience (Active Directory, Apache, SSH, etc.)
- Proficient in both written and spoken English; conversational fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required.
- Solid understanding of IT operations, including system administration, patching, inventory control, and incident response.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows and Linux environments, including workstations, servers, and network systems.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable for independent task completion.
Salary : $28 - $31
