Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence in the vacation property management industry? VTrips, a leader in vacation rentals, invites you to join our team as the Director of Operations. In this key role, you will establish and maintain operational standards to enhance the services provided to our guests and owners. You will oversee the Property Care Management and Maintenance Technician teams, ensuring top-tier service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Responsibilities:
Review daily surveys with actionable items to be addressed by the Operations team.
Oversee timely execution of work orders.
Conduct Admin Walks of properties to identify coaching opportunities.
Engage with Directors of Client Success and Guest Services to stay informed on processes and policies.
Assign developmental instructions to Property Care Managers and Maintenance Technicians.
Weekly Responsibilities:
Review and update weekly schedules for managers based on the business needs of the Operations Team.
Meet weekly with Property Care Managers to evaluate team communication and goal markers.
Complete all COP (Company Operations Plan) and GOP (Guest Operations Plan) work order assignments directed to the DOO role.
Conduct 5 Admin Walks of properties to identify coaching opportunities.
Monthly Responsibilities:
Meet monthly with support departments to ensure alignment and support.
Oversee all initial and ongoing development training.
Regularly inspect vehicle fleet for safety, cleanliness, and staff inspections.
Direct staff to follow a “safety first” principle and ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected immediately.
Be aware of and assist with the company’s emergency preparedness plan as needed.
Ongoing Duties:
Assist and engage the Guest Ambassador team with work order flow and completion audits.
Perform property inspections for grading and development opportunities.
Maintain a consistent rotation in the market to offer full support across all areas.
Maintain professional and personal development by attending in-house development sessions and pursuing self-development opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
