Join one of the largest, most acclaimed law firms in the world as an Antitrust HSR Paralegal. This is a hybrid role, 2-3 days in the Washington, DC office. Must have previous experience with HSR filings.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsible for performing legal tasks, working on legal projects, and providing various support functions to supervisors, while assisting attorneys with the preparation and submission of HSR premerger antitrust filings with the Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting attorneys with preparing and submitting HSR premerger antitrust filings with the Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice
- Coordinating ongoing projects and activities in either on-site or off-site locations, utilizing project assistants and support departments when necessary
- Developing procedures with supervisors for electronic or physical tracking, coding, and ensuring quality control systems for documents
- Attending and providing support to attorneys at court or agency hearings
- Creating and maintaining calendars for cases or transactions and distributing to supervisors and other team members
- Drafting forms, letters, or other legal documents
- Anticipating typical work for a case or transaction and works with supervisors to ensure all aspects are addressed
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent, or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
- A minimum of four (4) years of related law firm experience as a paralegal
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience with HSR and Antitrust filings, preferably

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
