Compensation : Base Salary Commission (P&L after each deal closed)

Position Overview

The Managing Director of Property Management is a dynamic leadership role focused on expanding and managing the property management business within the Texas market. The position is focused on business strategy, securing new third-party clients, and acquiring new properties (industrial, office, retail, and medical sectors). The primary focus is to drive revenue, strengthen the company's presence in the market, and continually grow the client base while providing leadership and guidance to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (70%)

  • Develop and implement business strategies to acquire new clients and properties across industrial, office, retail, and medical sectors.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals, ensuring successful contract negotiations.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet revenue and growth objectives.

Team Management and Operations Oversight (30%)

  • Oversee and manage the property management operations team, including Senior Property Managers, Property Managers, Engineers, and Administrative Staff.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and achieve company objectives.
  • Collaborate with operations team to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to clients, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and financial targets are met.
  • Revenue Growth & Client Retention

  • Drive and oversee initiatives aimed at growing the company’s revenue through acquiring new properties and clients.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities within the current client base to further grow revenue streams.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial property management or real estate, with at least 10 years in a sales and operations leadership role (Managing Director, VP, Director, etc.).
  • Strong business development background, with a demonstrated ability to acquire new clients and properties, ideally in the industrial, office, retail, and medical sectors.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a "hustle" mindset and entrepreneurial drive
