Demo Event Fitting Technician

Position Summary:

The TaylorMade Demo Event Fitting Technician is responsible for executing consumer-facing sales at TaylorMade Golf club fitting and promotional events at green grass facilities, driving ranges and off-course specialty shops throughout the Virginia territory. The Technician is responsible for custom fitting golf clubs and ensures the visibility and quality of TaylorMade equipment and products, while providing all other related services to satisfy customer requirements and requests.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in planning and coordinating schedules with the local TaylorMade Sales / Experiential Representative.

· Maintain and deliver the Demonstration Matrix to all scheduled events.

· Develop and maintain effective partnerships with customers.

· Collect all sales data and report on productivity.

· Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers by being able to recommend the correct TaylorMade product to enhance player performance.

· Performs other responsibilities as required.

· Ability to operate computer equipment

Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience:

· Minimum of 1 year golf-related Custom Fitting/Sales experience.

· PGA / PGM Affiliation preferred, but not required.

· Golf industry, retail and/or education (i.e. PGM Program, Golf Academy) experience

· Must have golf playing ability: 12 handicap or better

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

· Flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work (daily rate position); including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

· Extensive travel. Must be able to travel to various locations for experiential events within the state of Virginia (50-75% traveling)

· Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
