Duties

- Lead and train a team of bakers and assistants to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality product output.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
- Implement budgeting strategies to maintain profitability while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food service operations.
- Develop new recipes and menu items that align with customer preferences and market trends.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including daily sales reconciliation and reporting.
- Collaborate with catering teams to fulfill special orders and events as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bakery environment for both staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a bakery or fine dining setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation techniques.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management within a food service context.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems.
