Work Status : Part-time, salaried (no benefits)
Principal Function : We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to serve as the Director / Minister of Music. This role involves leading our Adult Choir, Youth Choir, Children's Choir, and Hand bell Choir, ensuring that our music ministry enhances worship and community life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct the Adult Choir, Youth Choir, Children's Choir, and Hand bell Choir during Sunday morning and evening worship, as well as Wednesday evening rehearsals.
- Collaborate with the Senior Pastor to provide effective music for worship services and special events (weddings, funerals, Holy Week, etc.).
- Guide and support accompanists within the music ministry.
- Maintain the music library, including literature, materials, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- Work with the Music Committee to plan and manage the annual music budget.
- Arrange for substitute accompanists when necessary.
- Notify the Senior Pastor of any planned absences and arrange for substitutes during vacation periods.
- Participate in evaluations and seek support from the Personnel Committee as needed.
- Serve as a committed member of our Christian team, fostering a professional and harmonious working environment.
