Taylorville Park District is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team. This key position will oversee all financial operations for the district, ensuring efficient budget management, financial reporting, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee the preparation and administration of the district’s annual budget in coordination with the District Board.
-Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
-Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
-Coordinate audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and district policies.
-Ensure transparency in financial operations and provide clear communication to the Board of Directors at monthly meetings.
-Other duties as created or assigned.
Qualifications: Experience in municipal/governmental or nonprofit finance is preferred along with a strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting. Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
Starting salary: $40,000/annually
