Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a positive member experience by greeting members, prospective members, and guests, and responding to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle all front desk related activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and signing up new members.
• Facilitate needed updates to member accounts and assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
