CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative / Operations Administrative Assistant is responsible for all areas relating to Customer Service and Operations. We are seeking a personable, level-headed, eager to learn teammate for the Customer Service Representative position. This role is primarily responsible for answering the phones, data entry, working with the Dispatch team to assist with dumpster orders and partnering with the billing team with office tasks. This position involves computerized work, multitasking, and excellent organizational skills.
Skills and abilities needed to excel at this job:

· Ability to maintain composure under pressure
· Ability to handle multiple competing tasks
· General knowledge of waste and construction industry
· Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Customer Service:
· Receives customer order from order taker or telephone call
· Effectively communicates with the customer for dumpster/portable toilet orders.
· Process customer payments
· Enters the customer order timely, accurately and completely into the dispatch system
· Direct calls to office teammates for AR/AP, collections
Qualifications - Education/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experienced computer skills
- Waste and Recycling industry knowledge is preferred but willing to train the right person.
Working Conditions:
· Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Professional environment within a climate-controlled office environment
- Long hours may be required as business deems necessary
- Customer contact may result in stressful situations
Compensation:
· Location: Palatine, IL
