Computer Technician

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

RATE OF PAY: $18.00 an hour, plus $1.00-$2.00 / hour in actual bonuses (See BONUSES page).

WORK SCHEDULE: 8 HOURS PER DAY IN BETWEEN 8 AM – 5 PM MONDAY - FRIDAY

Position Title: Production Tech

ROLE

• Be part of the Production team and assist in assessing, testing, repairing, and inventorying Computing Equipment including Computers, Laptops, Servers, Hard Drives and Tablets.

REQUIREMENTS

• You must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs

• Warehouse experience is a plus

• Computer hardware knowledge

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to adapt to continuous process improvements and change

• Proven written and oral communication skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions

• Must be able to stand all day

• Must be able to work in a quasi non climate controlled environment

• Must be able to communicate clearly and fluently in English

• Must be able to comfortably look at computer monitors for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to use smaller tools such as screwdrivers

ACTIVITIES
The activities you may perform include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe work environment and safe use of tools

• Sort, Test, Repair, and Inventory computer equipment

• Learn and be the expert at the team's processes and software

• Assist in keeping the work area, building interior and building exterior areas clean and orderly

• Move inventory items and pallets within the warehouse

• Pack and store items

• Accurately quality check fellow team member's work

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalency required

• Two years of general computer hardware maintenance and repair experience for employment or as a hobby

BONUSES AND PAID TIME OFF

TBF Computing offers a number of bonus plans as performance incentives beyond employee base salary. These bonuses are a part of the way we do business and how we reward performance, leadership, and loyalty. Bonuses are available beginning the fourth week of employment, although some are reserved for those employees that have made it out of their probationary period. The TBF Computing team members that are interested in increasing their base pay are consistently producing the results that TBF Computing is looking for, and are cashing in on the bonuses that come from doing so.

Employees, in good standing, with at least six months of continuous employment are eligible for paid time off.
