Our team is seeking an early career accountant with 1-3 years of experience with an exciting company in growth mode.
Where: Phoenix, Arizona
Onsite 5 days a week
The ideal candidates will be reliable, eager to grow with a company on an established accounting team.
Required experience and what you will do:
- Between 1-3 years of experience in accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
- Maintain accurate financial records, process accounts payable and receivable, and prepare general ledger entries.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure consistency with financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Support budget development, monitoring, and financial planning.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
- Analyze the effects of transactions on account relationships and evaluate alternative treatments.
- Develop and modify account structures to enhance financial reporting.
- Ensure the adequacy of accounting systems for accurate management reporting.
- Assess the need for new or updated financial controls.
- Project financial data to evaluate the impact of business decisions on capital, income, and cash flow.
- Interpret financial reports, statements, and records to provide insights.
- Advise management and operational teams on accounting matters and best practices
