Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Human Resources Business Partner to join the HR Team in Bradenton, FL supporting the Supply Chain Operations. This role will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance to leaders and employees, ensuring compliance with policies, fostering an engaging and productive workplace, and driving key HR initiatives related to talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide guidance on Company policies, values, and HR programs (benefits, compensation, and salary administration) to ensure consistency and timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, and FLSA).
- Interpret labor contracts, lead the grievance process, and actively participate in grievance committee meetings, ensuring proper resolution and execution.
- Coach leadership in performance management and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and execute staffing strategies for exempt and non-exempt hiring needs.
- Drive initiatives to improve organizational health and workplace culture.
- Lead and support Diversity & Inclusion programs.
- Manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Utilize data analytics to drive HR strategies and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of prior Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a union environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience practicing HR in a manufacturing/warehousing environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making and navigate complex business situations.
- Must be located in the Bradenton, FL surround area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Bradenton Plant five days a week, with flexibility to occasionally work remotely as business needs allow.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
