Construction Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management principles and demonstrate expertise in managing construction site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules using tools such as Buildertrend or Asana for effective project scheduling. While experience is not mandatory in these specific programs, experience using digital platforms or software to project manage is required.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project align with schematics and contractual obligations.
• Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets and contracts, ensuring that all financial aspects are tracked and reported accurately.
• Manage multiple commercial projects and field visits to generate reports, liaise with clients, and push projects through multiple phases into completion.
• Facilitate project meetings to communicate progress, address issues, and ensure alignment among team members.
• Utilize software or digital platforms for document management and collaboration among team members.
• Implement effective time management strategies to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction project management or a related field is essential.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and best practices is required.
• Proficiency in using project coordination tools and software.
• A strong understanding of schematics and construction contracts is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and communication.
• Basic experience reading blueprints is required, AutoCAD experience is desired but not a requirement.
