Position Overview :

Zynga’s Data Science and Analytics team uses our unique and expansive data to model and predict user behavior, making our games more personalized and more fun to play! We continually strive to better understand our players and provide them with experiences that resonate.

Join our team if you are passionate about analytics and data science and can use customer-centric, data-driven initiatives to improve game performance. As a member of the Central Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to build end-to-end scalable data-driven solutions to generate valuable insights and contribute to exciting, large-scale projects. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Game Analysts, and Engineers to make a significant impact on our business.

What You'll Do :

• Work with large amounts of data to find and lead opportunities to improve the experience that Zynga provides to its players.
• Use our modern tech stack, Redshift, Databricks and PySpark, Airflow, and Tableau to develop innovative tools.
• Technically engage with the analysts, data scientists, and game teams to provide data-driven insights and guidance with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Drive customer-backed solutions, partnering with cross-functional teams; own productionalization and adoption.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions to business challenges.
• Develop technological ideas and lead development into a final product.
• Bolster customer trust and build technical knowledge through execution of ad hoc analyses of high business priority.
• Adept at communication and collaboration across various functional areas within the organization.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $123,500 and $182,780 per year.

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and / or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
