About the role

As a User Researcher, you’ll be at the heart of our product strategy, shaping how we craft solutions that empower developers and engineering teams across the globe. Your insights will directly influence key decisions, and you'll guide cross-functional teams in translating complex user needs into elegant, intuitive experiences. Your mission is to dive deep into the mindset of engineers and enterprise teams, uncovering their challenges, motivations, and desires. You’ll turn those insights into action, helping us create tools that developers love to use—and that make them even more productive.

Examples of What You Could Do :

• Observe an engineering team at a client site to understand how they use Augment’s tools and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct interviews with developers to explore how they approach AI-assisted coding, then turn insights into actionable product features.
• Run usability studies to streamline the onboarding experience for new users, helping them succeed faster.
• Create personas and journey maps based on user feedback to guide design and product decisions.
• Present key findings to leadership, influencing the product roadmap.

The actual salary within the stated range will be based on a combination of factors such as an individual's skills, experience level, educational background, and other relevant job-related considerations.

Pay Range : $175,000 - $250,000 USD
