Location : This position offers remote work from Los Angeles, Denver, and New York City. Please be aware that applications from candidates residing outside of California, Colorado, and New York will not be considered.OVERVIEWMovement Strategy is looking for a Designer to support our Amazon business units (Home, Fashion, Flagship and Beauty). You will report to the Associate Design Director and work closely with the Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Content and Engagement Managers and cross-functional team members such as Project Management and Strategy. The Designer will support content creation with a specific focus on social first creative and design. We are looking for someone with agency experience working on large brands and experience designing for the digital and social space.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Designer at Movement, you’ll work closely with our full creative team to execute and shepherd through creative content. Your day-to-day tasks will include : Creating static and motion content for social channels including TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTubeTranslating social trends into social content ideasExpanding on / Developing new design systemsExecuting on larger, campaign-level ideas and contentManaging and working within brand design systemsDeck DesignREQUIREMENTS2–3 Years of Relevant ExperienceAgency experience preferredStrong content design skills including typography, layout, photo editing and compositingProficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects (bonus)Experience with Premiere or 3D Software a plusA knowledge of the creative process, especially social content creationAbility to work from idea to execution and distributionIDEAL QUALITIESHigh energy, passionate, curious, confident, and tenacious in learning, coupled with the ability to navigate the nuances of different client teams.Must communicate quickly and accurately, think quickly or improvise, and present confidently.Should be a nimble self-starter and quickly adjust to internal and external teams in an ever-changing environment; identify opportunity with bias to action.You’re proactive and naturally curious about the digital and social space, constantly looking for opportunities to evolve the department and advance the work.You are passionate about the work you do and treat your client’s business as if it were your own.You have a diverse and inclusive perspective, valuing different viewpoints and backgrounds within the team.You make others’ jobs easier (no matter who they are or what they do)You create a positive and open environment.Your attention to detail is unmatched, ensuring that paid outputs meet the highest quality standards and align with client objectives.You know how to work smarter, not harder.SALARY & COMPENSATIONIn compliance with local and state law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles that will be performed in New York City, Colorado, and California. The range listed is just one component of Movement Strategy’s total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation varies based on location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
