Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director of Sales, TCL is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth in the Home Theater category across key national accounts in the Consumer Electronics (CE) industry. This individual will be responsible for achieving sales goals, managing forecasts, and developing sales plans to support TCL's presence in the home theater market. The Sales Manager will contribute to the creation of innovative business strategies, execute sales plans, and help position TCL as a leading brand in the market.
The Sales Manager will also support TCL’s marketing, advertising, events, and training initiatives while acting as a key point of contact with major retailers. This role will act as a liaison between external customers and TCL’s internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to establish annual sales goals and contribute to the development of both short- and long-term strategic plans, including preparation of business plans and budgets.
- Sell-in & Forecast Management: Assist in the creation and management of sell-in plans by account, ensuring alignment with internal forecasts and supply chain objectives.
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Track customer sales performance regularly to ensure alignment with internal forecasts and inventory levels.
- Shelf Share Optimization: Support efforts to achieve shelf-share goals by driving product visibility and working with retailers to maximize sales.
- Customer Collaboration: Participate in CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) calls with customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment on sales and inventory strategies.
- Budget & Expense Management: Assist with the management of budgets to ensure that sales expenses are on track and revenue goals are met.
- Vendor Program Negotiation: Assist in negotiating vendor program agreements, ensuring favorable terms for TCL while contributing to growth at the retail level.
- Event Management: Support the planning and execution of customer events, ensuring that TCL is represented well and professionally.
- Executive Relationships & Business Reviews: Build and maintain relationships with key national accounts, and assist in tracking performance metrics like inventory levels, sales, and business reviews.
- Customer Portal Liaison: Help manage and optimize TCL's online presence through customer portals to ensure accurate and effective representation.
Qualification/Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience managing retail national accounts, particularly in Home Theater or related CE categories. Experience with accounts such as Best Buy, Costco, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Target, or Amazon is highly preferred.
- Forecasting Expertise: Experience in creating and analyzing customer forecasts and demand planning, with a focus on supply chain alignment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and experience with sales management tools and reporting software.
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical & Strategic: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.
- Relationship Management: Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on maintaining long-term connections with key accounts.
- Adaptability & Execution: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that sales targets are met.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
