We are seeking a skilled and experienced GIS Developer/Specialist to design, develop, and maintain custom Geographic Information System (GIS) applications and tools. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to address specific business needs through GIS technology, integrating spatial data with enterprise systems, web applications, and mobile platforms. This role requires expertise in ESRI technologies, GIS software development, spatial databases, and geospatial data visualization.

1. GIS Application Development:

• Design, develop, and implement custom GIS applications and tools using industry-standard software and programming languages.
• Create user-friendly interfaces for spatial data analysis, visualization, and decision-making.
• Develop custom scripts and automation workflows to enhance GIS functionality and optimize processes.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security to meet organizational needs.

2. Spatial Database Management:

• Design, create, and maintain spatial databases for efficient storage, retrieval, and management of geospatial data.
• Optimize database performance, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• Implement spatial indexing and query optimization techniques to enhance database efficiency.
• Work with PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial, Oracle Spatial, or other GIS databases for data storage and processing.

3. GIS Data Integration & System Connectivity:

• Integrate GIS data and functionalities with other systems and applications, such as enterprise platforms, mobile applications, and web-based solutions.
• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to migrate and synchronize GIS data across systems.
• Work with APIs, web services, and cloud-based GIS solutions for seamless data exchange and accessibility.
• Ensure GIS solutions align with business requirements and IT infrastructure.

4. Web Mapping & Geospatial Visualization:

• Design and develop interactive web maps and geospatial applications using ESRI ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, Web AppBuilder, or JavaScript APIs.
• Utilize Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox, or other web mapping frameworks to create intuitive and responsive GIS solutions.
• Implement geoprocessing tools, spatial analytics, and real-time data visualization.
• Work with UX/UI teams to enhance usability and accessibility of GIS applications.

5. GIS Data Management & Analysis:

• Process, analyze, and manage geospatial datasets from various sources, including satellite imagery, LiDAR, GPS data, and survey information.
• Perform spatial analysis, geocoding, and network analysis to extract meaningful insights.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, metadata requirements, and data governance policies.
• Automate data collection, cleaning, and transformation processes using scripting languages such as Python, SQL, or R.

• Bachelor's or Master s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
• 3 years of hands-on experience in GIS application development and spatial database management.
• Proficiency in ESRI software suite, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, and ArcPy.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and/or C# for GIS development.
• Experience with GIS web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Expertise in spatial databases such as PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial, or Oracle Spatial.
• Knowledge of GIS standards, projections, and metadata management.
• Familiarity with cloud GIS solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience integrating GIS with REST APIs, web services, and third-party applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Experience with LiDAR, remote sensing, and raster data processing.
• Knowledge of Geospatial AI/ML techniques for spatial analysis and predictive modeling.
