Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Architect to design and implement robust IT solutions within a coherent architecture framework. The role involves developing specifications, models, and guidelines while collaborating across organizational boundaries to transition from the current state to a desired future state. The ideal candidate will have experience in business, data, security, and technical architecture and a strong ability to communicate technical solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain specifications, models, and guidelines for IT architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Design solution architectures that integrate with existing infrastructure and support scalability, security, and performance requirements.
- Conduct current state assessments and define transition plans to move from the current state to the desired future state.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and IT teams to understand requirements and design solutions accordingly.
- Establish data, security, and application architecture standards and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and present architecture documentation, roadmaps, and proposals to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and practices to optimize the IT landscape.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and modeling languages (UML, BPMN).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, security protocols, and integration patterns.
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and leading architecture initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CISSP are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of security standards (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, .NET) and database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
