What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tactical Vehicle Specialist position at TCS Govcon?
TCS Govcon is seeking a highly skilled Tactical Vehicle Specialist to support our Combat and Strategic Systems Operation in providing maintenance and repair services for medium and light tactical vehicle platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and replacing components, conducting functional tests, and documenting maintenance actions. Additionally, they will review technical documentation to identify planned maintenance action requirements, implement service advisories and service bulletins, and provide analysis and recommendations for changes and improvements to equipment installation, operation, modification, and maintenance.
This position requires someone who can commit to travel to various locations as needed, up to 50% of the time. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience or a high school diploma and a minimum of five years of relevant experience in integration, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance efforts for military wheeled vehicles.
Key qualifications include obtaining a Secret Clearance, being a U.S. citizen, having a valid driver's license, and possessing strong mechanical skills and experience supporting military ground tactical vehicles. Knowledge of quality systems and ability to use various hand, power-driven, and specialty tools are also essential.
