Line of Business: Technology Solutions Job Description: The Business Systems Analyst I performs systems analysis assignments with varying degrees of supervision. The Business Systems Analyst also provides complex technical business support to clients that utilize small/ midsize/enterprise level systems. This role is to design solutions for Commercial Technology Servicing Platform initiatives supporting multiple Commercial Servicing applications. We are looking for someone to lead the creation of end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the system Requirements Specification (SRS). Will be exposed to stretch assignments as they take on large-scale, complex and/or enterprise-wide projects. Provide guidance when scoping and delivering solutions to meet business needs. Work with internal teams to scope work and produce estimates to help define deliverables and timelines. Effectively collaborates with Business teams & Vendor to determine system requirements, work with Developers & Testing teams to detail on requirements. Triage defects collaborate with team to identify the root cause & own the solution up to production implementation. Able to effectively facilitate Technical Design review sessions. Provide guidance when scoping and delivering solutions to meet business needs. Work effectively individually and with team members to achieve customer satisfaction and success. Knowledge of Agile practices, particularly sprint planning and assessment. Depth & Scope: Communicates with programmers to ensure understanding of business processes and requirements of the users Works with programmers to ensure understanding of business processes and requirements of the processes to ensure that the delivered system matches the specified features and functions Participates in the assessment of available technologies recommending innovative and cost -effective solutions Maps current business processes to new systems and participate in the transition to the new solution Determines interface requirements for effective system transition Develops detailed specification documents that include features and functions of the new system Develops test plans and test case scenarios to guarantee the new system design meets business requirements Implements assigned new system installations, upgrade and conversions Documents selected system parameters, file layouts and application design layouts Tracks open issues and resolution of issues Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate 5 years relevant experience Advanced communications, problem-solving and decision making skills Experience in moderate scale corporate systems analysis Ability to work with systems users or potential users to develop system specifications and requirements, applying business systems knowledge to ensure relevant areas of research are addressed Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications with limited guidance Preferred Qualifications: Agile, cloud certifications are highly recommended. 5 years Product expertise in Commercial Lending, Servicing, SAAS or COTS. 5 years relevant Banking experience. 3 years prior Commercial Servicing experience. Expert knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules. Expert knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise including design, development, testing, and vendor interactions.
