About Us:
TD Eure Marine Construction is an established leader in marine construction, shoreline protection, and dredging. We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to manage project submittals, schedules, subcontractor relationships, and quality control. This role requires a self-starter with prior experience in construction project coordination, document control, or subcontractor management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Takeoffs & Estimating: Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment using construction plans and specifications. Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, including gathering subcontractor/vendor pricing, analyzing bid packages, and ensuring competitive pricing strategies. Work closely with project managers and leadership to refine project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support bidding efforts.
- Submittals & Documentation: Independently manage the collection, organization, and submission of submittals to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Subcontractor Management: Identify and pre-qualify subcontractors, review subcontractor pay applications, and track performance.
- Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules to track progress and adjust as needed.
- Safety & Quality Control: Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards and support the field team in meeting these requirements.
- Meetings & Communication: Represent TD Eure at pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, and monthly superintendent meetings to facilitate project success.
- Plan & Specification Review: Read and interpret plans and specifications to ensure all work aligns with project requirements.
- Project Planning & Risk Management: Create and manage Project Plans, Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and risk mitigation strategies.
- Accountability & Communication: Maintain strong communication with the Project Manager,field teams, and subcontractors, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.
Qualifications & Skills:
· 2 years of experience in construction project coordination, document control, or subcontractor management.
· Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
· Strong understanding of construction safety & quality control regulations (OSHA, EM 385-1-1, etc.).
· Ability to travel as needed for pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project inspections.
Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong ability to interpret and analyze construction plans and specifications.
Effective verbal and written communication to coordinate between office and field teams.
