Responsible for using mechanical engineering principles to design, develop, customize, implement, test and sustain TDW products and services solutions for customer applications.
Works with teams on efforts of significant scope and complexity.
May architect product designs, act as a leader or subject matter expert on a project and provide mentoring to other engineers. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to :
- Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design components, products, and systems
- Produces technical deliverables - 3D models, engineering drawings, design calculations, tolerance analysis, analysis reports, etc.
- Creates or manages the creation of product documents (e.g.
design package, manufacturing documents, operating & maintenance manuals)
Assists with prototyping, oversees and may perform verification tests.
Leads technical presentations and progress reports, including design reviews. Requirements :
