- Undergraduate degree
- 5 years related experience
- Demonstrated recruiting experience in an HR setting or agency setting required
- Established network of contacts in Banking / financial services and executive circles preferred
- Proven interviewing experience required
- Demonstrated experience in capturing data and building a database of market data
- Extensive knowledge of recruiting and employment practices
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Proven ability to develop optimal relationships with associates and hiring managers
- Strong negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain business partnerships
- Computer literacy and proficiency in common PC applications including internet recruitment tools

- Acts as the Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and businesses supported, having deep expertise of external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talent
- Manages end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition program
- Develops and executes innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent
- Advises business leads on talent market gaps and provides insights on alternate practices and opportunities
- Executes on determined plans and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approach
- Focuses on creating an optimal Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle aligned to TD's customer experience model
- Maintains expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and programs as they relate to recruitment
- Cultivates strong relationships with HR partners, HR CoE's and business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal sourcing approaches
- Maintains, analyzes and leverages accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities; consulting with hiring managers
- Promotes TD brand in the marketplace through developing and maintaining strong candidate and industry networks
- Leads advertising and brand activities to attract talent, utilizing internet / intranet / social media and other recruiting tools as appropriate
- Represents TD in various recruitment functions as needed
- Generally interacts with executive level managers up to and including the most senior management layers
- Prioritizes and manages own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
- Adheres to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the talent acquisition function
