What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Director position at TDC LEARNING CENTERS?
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our network of Early Learning Centers, serving children from infancy to school age. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a passion for early childhood education and a strong background in program management, financial oversight, operations, and advocacy. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple center locations and fostering a culture of excellence in care and education.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood, child development, or related academic discipline from a regionally accredited college or university
- Minimum 2 years of experience in program administration or management in early childhood care or early childhood education.
- Minimum 5 years previous supervisory and or leadership experience in a licensed childcare center
- Valid Driver’s License
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check.
- Meets all state regulatory and license requirements for work in a childcare center.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education including best practices.
- The capacity to solve complex technical, administrative, and regulatory/policy issues involved in implementing strong systems and services by making timely decisions.
- Courtesy, tact, and attention to detail are essential elements of the role. The position involves personal contact with parents, key community stakeholders, prospective families and community partners, and others inside and outside the organization; generally, for the purpose of giving and obtaining inform or instructions, updating or referring.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
