What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Project Manager position at TDECU?

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities between multiple projects to ensure they deliver the organization’s goals. Additionally, the Project Manager will collaborate with various business units to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives and builds program and project management capabilities within the credit union.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and integrate activities and tasks across multiple, functional project teams to establish desired outcomes and manage expectations for the Business Partners.
  • Responsible for project scoping and budget development, project planning, scheduling, and vendor management.
  • Utilize continuous process improvement methodology for streamlining implementation process and improving quality.
  • Plan projects to meet scope constraints and attain desired business outcomes.
  • Facilitate project team meetings; ensure minutes, agendas and schedules are prepared and distributed timely.
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative analysis; identify and analyze reporting requirements related to key strategic projects; define/develop data sources and prepare related progress reports.
  • Create executive dashboards to apprise Leadership of project status.
  • Diagnose problems accurately and timely; evaluate and collaborate with project team members to identify alternative courses of action; recommend and/or implement creative and effective solutions; document results.
  • Proactively manage relationships throughout the enterprise by communication of upcoming gateways and projected milestones. Serve as liaison between the TDECU project team and third-party vendors, when necessary.
  • Develop experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall

Minimum Qualifications:

(Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Essential education:

  • Four year or technical degree or combination of education and experience as a project manager or business systems analyst and/or other similar relevant experience.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or willing to obtain in the first year.**

Essential experience:

  • 0 – 3 years experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Demonstrated experience with projects small in size and complexity, budgets typically up to $100,000.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and strategic and creative thinking abilities.
  • Develops competence in flexibility and change orientation.
  • Adheres to PM core principals in terms of project structure, planning, execution, documentation and outcomes.
  • Follows Enterprise Project Management Office established framework Assumes responsibility for achieving results through influencing project team members.
  • Ability to facilitate group discussions and address interpersonal conflicts in an efficient, respectful manner.
  • Ability to balance technical solutions against economic and human factors.
  • General understanding of product applications, technological trends and evolutions.
  • Continually learns and stays current on marketplace trends and needs.
  • Builds collaborative and productive relationships across the enterprise.
  • Demonstrates effective time management. Knowledge of relevant software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Preferred experience includes project management tools (MS Project, Workfront, or similar systems).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
