Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Team Leadership Assistance: Communicate job duties, focus on crew efficiency, perform quality control inspections, and enforce safety protocols.
- General Construction Labor: Operate trenchers, backhoes, end loaders, plows, and other excavating equipment; locate cable and fiber; perform landscape restoration.
- Construction Site Organization: Engage municipalities, coordinate project tasks, review GIS maps, ensure locates are performed on time, and set pedestals/vaults/handholes.
- Construction Equipment Maintenance: Service, clean, maintain, and repair equipment, check DOT logs, and report issues.
The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of construction equipment operation experience or equivalent military service, along with a valid driver's license and eligibility for DOT requirements.
