About the Job
As a Precision Manufacturing Technician, you will play a critical role in the production process at TE Connectivity. Your responsibilities will include operating CNC machining equipment, performing set-ups, and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment.
You will work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. Communication with engineers will be essential to understand the purpose of a part assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machining equipment and perform set-ups.
- Make tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment.
- Work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks.
- Communicate directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years of CNC operating experience required.
- Due to ITAR restrictions, US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residency is required for this position.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a confined space.
