As a dishwasher or busser, your role is all about maintaining a clean working and dining environment. You’ll use your attention to detail to keep tables clean and clear, assist customers with their dining experience so they depart with a smile, and keep kitchen utensils and dishes ready for the team. Te’Jun Requirements:
- Must meet or exceed the standards set forth by Te’Jun the Texas Cajun Restaurants.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be honest and dependable.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to work weekends (our busiest days are Friday and Saturday).
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
- Must remain friendly, move fast, work hard, and make good decisions, even under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and lift 25-60 pounds.
- Must take initiative and be motivated to grow and learn.
- Must be able to work individually and as part of a high-performance team.
- Must have excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- (Dishwasher) Wash dishes to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
- (Dishwasher) Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dish room including walls, floors, dish sinks, and shelving.
- (Busser) Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining room including tables, floors, doors, windows, and restrooms.
- (Busser) Maintain the beverage station including brewing tea, filling ice, changing soda boxes, and stocking beverage items.
- (Busser) Assist guests with their trash, drinks, and food delivery.
- Maintain trash cans and remove trash.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness and ensure they stay stocked.
- Ensure great hospitality and customer service.
- Ensure proper food handling practices and food safety practices.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance.
