Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas by cleaning tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for events or catering services.
- Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen and dining areas regularly.
- Support waitstaff by bussing tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely service.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or hotels, is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment, including catering services as needed.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration within the kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
