What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at TE Technology?
Provide management accurate daily reports on direct labor usage.
Maintain equipment in good working order.
Study, review and be familiar with all specifications, materials, requirements, and conditions prior to the start of a job.
Assure that the chain of command is followed and that lines of communication are open.
Assemble products by following specifications from drawings, diagrams, procedures, written and verbal instructions.
Operate hand tools, small power tools, dispensing machines and electronic test equipment.
Use calipers, micrometers, scales and other measuring devices to verify part conforms to specifications.
Perform in-process inspections as required and complete process control routers.
Prepare and apply epoxy compounds for sealing and bonding processes.
Maintain product quality standards of workmanship.
Accurately complete proper forms for reporting labor hours daily.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Other duties as assigned by the Assembly Supervisor.'
