Office Manager
The office manager assists the principal in providing clerical assistance, performs a variety of clerical tasks, maintains the building level office in an orderly manner, and provides a professional climate for school personnel, students, parents, and all other persons who may visit the school.
1. High School diploma or equivalent. Previous secretarial experience is preferred.
2. Satisfactory preparations in the areas of business education and English are required.
3. Maintains an accurate filing system.
4. Possesses general bookkeeping skills.
5. Ability to compose letters is essential.
6. Knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office, and office equipment is necessary.
7. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is required.
8. Ability to work cooperatively with others and possess organizational skills is crucial.
9. Ability to relate well with students is important.
10. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Reports to: The Building Principal
Terms of Employment: To extend two weeks before the teachers report for the school year and for two weeks after the teachers leave for summer break.

Responsibilities
- Meet and greet the public in a professional and positive manner in person and on the telephone.
- Take messages and refer to appropriate personnel.
- Type bulletins, newsletters, letters, and other reports as may be needed.
- Gives information to the public regarding school activities.
- Assist school personnel as may be assigned by the building principal.
- Maintain accurate records of students and staff for state reporting.
- Collect and receipt monies as may be assigned.
- Interact with staff and students in a positive and helpful manner.
- Enroll all students.
- Assist in scheduling students as directed by the building principal.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the principal.
- Help prepare materials for meetings.
- Perform in a crisis situation.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the building principal.
