Position Summary:
The Business Systems Project Manager plays a critical role in bridging technology and business
operations by managing projects that enhance and support the organization’s systems and
processes. This role focuses on functional execution, including gathering requirements, writing
detailed specifications, documenting process flows, and updating the technology roadmap. The
ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and skilled at developing project
charters and aligning deliverables with strategic objectives.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Develop detailed project specifications, including functional requirements and process improvements.
- Create and maintain project charters to define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Map and document current and future-state business processes to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Update and maintain the organization’s technology roadmap, reflecting evolving priorities and strategic goals.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure project success.
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure systems are optimized and meet business needs.
- Support change management initiatives to promote smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
- Project manage and provide oversight to implementation team(s)- including scope, budget, resourcing, issue/risk, escalation and time management related to the effort.
- Oversee solution development engagements with internal and external project resources.
- Lead new technology evaluations, vendor capability assessments and conduct pilots and proof of concepts.
- Research, and recommend ongoing ancillary, expanded, or updated solutions based on available or emerging technology.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in project management, business systems, or a related field.
- Proven ability to write clear and comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, process flows, and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on tactical execution.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and HubSpot is a plus.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or Agile Scrum Master) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholder.
- Proven success managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Ability to influence and manage change.
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker that thrives in collaborative work environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit for extended periods of time; including at a computer.
- Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.

Salary : $90,000 - $155,000
