What are the responsibilities and job description for the Homeschool Teacher (Full-Time, 4 Kids, Ages 7-13) position at Teachers 2 Go, LLC?
Teachers To Go is looking for a full-time homeschool teacher to provide private instruction in all subjects in-person for four children (ages 7, 9, 11 & 13) at their home. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours teaching four students Monday-Thursday from 9am-2pm that pays $70k/year. A female teacher is preferred, since the majority of the four students are female. This opportunity is for the upcoming 2025/26 school year beginning on September 1st.
Looking for a teacher who can teach all subjects and apply the lessons to real life experience using the appropriate homeschool curricula. (The parent is open to collaborating with the right teacher about which curriculum is used.) For instance: doing a couple of hours of book work and then a couple of hours of related real experience problem solving would be a good balance.
The right teacher will have a minimum of two years teaching experience working with late elementary and/or middle school students. Prior experience working with students who have dyslexia is a plus. Prior experience teaching at a Christian school is also a plus. Looking for a teacher who is loving & caring, kind & patient, and organized but not rigid (ie: reactive to each student’s needs). The right teacher will also be a team player who can collaborate with the parents.
A minimum of a BA/BS and 2 years professional classroom teaching experience is required. Must be comfortable teaching and assisting students with all subjects through middle school level, as well as coaching/facilitating study skills and time management.
