What You'll Do:
- Provide high-quality, interactive virtual tutoring sessions aligned with state standards
- Support students in general education subjects (Math, Science, English, Social Studies) as well as AP, IB, and foreign language courses
- Assess learning gaps, track progress, and create customized strategies to improve student performance
- Foster a supportive and engaging virtual learning environment that builds confidence and academic success
- Utilize virtual tools and platforms to connect with students effectively
What You Bring:
- Current and valid Tennessee State Teaching Certification (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related subject (Master's preferred)
- Experience teaching or tutoring in grades 3-12, including AP, IB, or foreign language instruction
- Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- A commitment to student success, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude
- Tools Needed: Computer, phone, internet access, and quiet work environment
