Hudson Community School District is seeking a High School Math Teacher to join our team! This exciting opportunity could involve teaching a range of high school math courses, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and AP Calculus, depending on the candidate's strengths and interest areas. Our current program is divided into an Algebra track and a Geometry track, with the latter encompassing Trigonometry and Calculus. The district uses Illustrative Mathematics (IM) curriculum with support from our experienced Math Instructional Coaches. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment and full health benefits. Qualified candidates must hold (or working towards) a valid Iowa Teaching license in 5-12 Mathematics. A passion for mathematics, a desire to share that passion with students, experience with or willingness to learn the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum, strong classroom management skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are also desired.
