ABOUT GRUNDY CENTER CSD
Grundy Center CSD is located in east central Iowa. The district is comprised of a K-4 elementary building and a 5-12 middle school/high school building. The district employs 133 individuals and serves 748 students (681 certified enrollment). In 2024, the district completed construction projects related to infrastructure, HVAC, technology improvements, and safety and security.

The district prides itself on strong academic and extracurricular achievements. A dedicated staff supports student learning and development. The elementary school is rated “High Performing” and the middle school is rated “Exceptional” by the Iowa Performance Profile. The district boasts a 92% graduation rate.

The Grundy Center CSD is seeking a highly visible and engaged leader who embodies its values of Connect, Learn, and Grow. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with students, staff, and the community while understanding the unique needs of a small school district. They will demonstrate decisive leadership and a commitment to promoting the success of the Grundy Center schools and community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Holds an Iowa superintendent licensure
Holds an evaluator approval certification
