Commissioning Site Manager, WTG/TP β Offshore Wind Project
Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Site Manager (WTG/TP) to oversee the commissioning activities for our Offshore Wind project. This role will focus on the transportation, pre-assembly, and installation of the Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the commissioning scope for WTG/TP in collaboration with contractors, packages, and project teams.
- Manage and supervise commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with HSE programs, project requirements, and contract agreements.
- Lead daily coordination meetings with stakeholders to review progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Monitor commissioning schedule progress and provide updates to project schedulers.
- Review and manage the process for key deliverable documentation (e.g., reports, plans, As-Built documentation).
- Execute and coordinate Owner LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) isolations and maintain documentation.
- Manage and authorize energization activities for high- and low-voltage (HV/LV) equipment.
- Supervise and authorize all work activities within an energized WTG.
- Draft, update, review, and approve plans, procedures, and certification documentation.
- Serve as Owner Representative to witness, inspect, audit, conduct walkdowns, and accept work.
Specialized Knowledge & Required Abilities
- Proven experience managing and coordinating WTG commissioning scope or an equivalent role.
- Expertise in project management tools and methodologies for complex projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of direct experience as a Commissioning Site Manager, preferably in Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) projects.
- Strong understanding of WTG commissioning processes, electrical systems, and offshore wind project execution.
Education
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
